How this website handles your information.
Who to contact
Tell Them Movement operates this website. Contact us about personal information at info@tellthemmovement.com, 081 423 9854, or Caravelle Street, Rocklands, Cape Town 7798, South Africa. Please use the subject “Privacy request” so we can route your enquiry.
Information you choose to provide
The contact form asks for your name, email address, subject, message and consent to respond. We use these details to answer your enquiry and arrange the follow-up you request. You may also contact us by email or telephone. Messages and related records may be retained in ministry email, website systems, service-provider logs and backups.
Website accounts and updates
If you register, the website uses your username, email address and password to create and protect your account. An activation email is sent before sign-in. WordPress stores account credentials in its protected account system; do not send your password through an enquiry form. Creating an account does not subscribe you to marketing.
The updates form separately asks for your email address and permission to receive ministry news. To withdraw that permission or request removal from updates, contact info@tellthemmovement.com with the subject “Unsubscribe”.
Please do not include identity numbers, card or bank credentials, detailed health information, or private information about another person. To request prayer support, ask how to contact the prayer team without including sensitive details in the website form. The general contact form is not intended for children to submit personal information independently; a parent or guardian should contact us.
Website operation and security
Our hosting and website services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested pages, dates and security events to deliver and protect the website. The contact form uses spam protection. See the Cookie Policy for third-party services and browser-storage information.
Why we process information
We ask for consent to use contact-form information to respond to your enquiry. Necessary website operation and security may also involve processing for legitimate interests or legal obligations, subject to applicable law. Contacting us does not subscribe you to a newsletter or authorise fundraising messages. Signing up for updates is a separate, optional choice. You can ask to stop updates at any time.
Who handles information
Information may be handled by authorised ministry personnel and service providers involved in website hosting, maintenance, email delivery and security. Some service providers may process information outside South Africa; applicable transfer safeguards must be considered. Contact us if you need details of the providers involved in your enquiry. We do not make contact submissions public.
Retention and protection
Information should be kept only as long as needed for the enquiry, legitimate record-keeping or legal obligations, and then securely deleted or de-identified. Email and backup copies may be retained separately from the website. Contact us to ask about a particular record or request deletion. We use HTTPS on this website; no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your information, correction or deletion, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. Email info@tellthemmovement.com; do not send identity documents unless a secure verification process has been agreed.
You may lodge a complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator. Rights and requests are subject to the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA), and other applicable law.
Changes
We will update this notice when the website’s information practices change. The date above identifies the latest version.
